Research Area: Statistical Signal Analysis
Time series analysis including spectral, probability density, and regression estimation; adaptive filtering algorithms; sampled data systems including reconstruction/estimation from non-equally spaced data; wireless communication systems.
Professor Masry joined the faculty at UCSD in July 1968. Current research interests include adaptive filtering algorithms for signal processing and communication systems; blind adaptive equalization algorithms; inference for continuous-time signals from discrete-time samples without loss of information; nonparametric function estimation for dependent data; functional data analysis.
